Ingredients
- 6 large baking potatoes
- 1 cup butter, cold
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 7 cups milk
- 6 - green onions, sliced
- 12 ounces bacon,cooked & crumbled
- 1 3/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
How To Make baked potato soup

Step 1Bake Potatoes at 400 temp for 1 hour. cool. Cut potatoes in 1/2 lenghtwise; scoop out pulp, put in bowl and mash. Set aside.

Step 2Melt butter in a large pan over low heat. Whisk in flour until smooth. Cook 1 min. whisking constantly. Gradually whisk in milk; cook over medium heat.whisking until mixture is thickened and bubbly.

Step 3Stir in mashed potatoes and green onions; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 min. Add bacon and remaining ingredients; stir until cheese melts. serve immediately.
