- 8 slices thick sliced bacon(cut into small pieces)
- 1 medium onion(diced)
- 1/2 tablespoon self rising flour
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 5 medium potatoes (diced)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese(shredded)
- - parsley(optional)
How To Make bacon potatoe soup

Step 1Fry bacon until crisp. Add onions, cook until tender. Stir in flour until smooth. Add broth and potatoes. Cook about 1 hour until potatoes are done. Add small amount of the broth to sour cream, then add sour cream, cheese and parsley to soup. Cook until cheese melts.

Step 2Serve with fried or baked cornbread and a green salad.
