made this tonight for dinner since it cold,wet,windt jus yucky day needed somethin to warm da body this worked!!!! great!!!!!

Ingredients
- 2/3 pound bacon
- 1 medium onion,rough chop
- 1 jar [16 oz] cheese whiz[low fat]
- 1 cup milk, 1%
- 1/2 cup sour cream, lite
- 1/2 package casero cheese[mexican cheese...use 5 oz]
How To Make bacon/onion/cheese soup

Step 1in med soup pot cook bacon that is cut into bite size pieces til crisp....add onions cook til tender add 1/2 the milk cook bout 5 min[milk will thicken up some....is what ya want]

Step 2add cheese whiz turn temp down so it does not boil...add the rest of the milk.... stir til cheese is all melted.... add sour cream stir into soup now add crumbled mexican cheese[some bigger pieces than others] jus stir to heat[ u want a few pieces of mexican cheese]

Step 3serve with whole wheat saltines and ENJOY!!!!! had this soup with fresh fruit salad....
