Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 - onions, peeled and chopped
- 2 - leeks, sliced
- 2 - turnips, cut into 1/2" cubes
- 2 - potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 - shallots, chopped
- 2 - celery stalks, sliced
- 2 - carrots, sliced
- 2 - garlic cloves, halved
- 2 - parsley, fresh sprigs
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 2 cups half and half
- - "just a pinch" of salt
- - "just a pinch" of pepper
- - dill, fresh sprigs with stems
How To Make ark soup

Step 1Saute all the vegetables in a large soup pot with the 2 tablespoons butter until vegetables are limp.

Step 2Add chicken broth and simmer until turnips are tender; Cool slightly, then process a little at a time through a blender.

Step 3Return soup to the pot and add the half-and-half; Re-heat gently and serve hot, garnished with a sprig of fresh dill.
