Ingredients
- 2 slices bacon, raw and diced
- 1/2 cup onion, sweet, chopped
- 2 cups corn, cut from cob
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 2 cups potatoes, diced russets
- 1 cup half and half
- pinch salt
- pinch pepper
- 1 tablespoon parsley, fresh sprigs
How To Make sweet corn chowder

Step 1Render bacon over medium-high heat in a large sauce pan until crisp; add onions,and sweet corn and stir for approximately two minutes.

Step 2Add flour and stir for one minute; add stock and stir until smooth.

Step 3Bring to a boil, add potatoes and simmer for 15-20 minutes to desired consistency.

Step 4Add half and half,,and simmer 2 more minutes.

Step 5Season with fresh parsley, salt and pepper.
