This is my youngest daughter's FAVORITE comfort food! We like things a bit spicy in our house so I always use hot sausage and add fresh chopped jalapenos.

cream of chicken soup
2 can(s)
yellow and white corn
2 can(s)
1 can(s)
green chile
2 c
monterey jack cheese

How to Make Shelby's Tex-Mex Chowder


  • 1Cook sausage, onion and garlic until sausage is no longer pink. Drain Fat from Pan.
  • 2Stir in Milk, cream of chicken soup, corn, Rotel, Green Chiles. Bring to a Boil. Reduce heat and simmer (stirring frequently) Uncovered for 20 minutes.
  • 3Right before serving add the shredded Cheese. Enjoy!!
