shelby's tex-mex chowder
This is my youngest daughter's FAVORITE comfort food! We like things a bit spicy in our house so I always use hot sausage and add fresh chopped jalapenos.

Ingredients
- 1 pound pork sausage
- 1 small onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 4 cups milk
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 cans yellow and white corn
- 2 cans rotel
- 1 can green chile
- 2 cups monterey jack cheese
How To Make shelby's tex-mex chowder

Step 1Cook sausage, onion and garlic until sausage is no longer pink. Drain Fat from Pan.

Step 2Stir in Milk, cream of chicken soup, corn, Rotel, Green Chiles. Bring to a Boil. Reduce heat and simmer (stirring frequently) Uncovered for 20 minutes.

Step 3Right before serving add the shredded Cheese. Enjoy!!
