I love Corn Chowder and with sausage added it's even better.It's a must try and very simple to make...Enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 12 ounces sausage,browned and drained
  • 1 can whole kernal corn
  • 1 can cream style corn
  • 4-5 - medium russet potatoes,peeled and cubed

How To Make sausage corn chowder....

  • Step 1
    In a 4-quart soup pan, bring onion,potatoes,Italian seasoning,water,salt, and pepper to low boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 15-20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender. Add milk,sausage, and corn. Cook over low heat, uncovered, an additional 5-7 minutes or until heated through. Do not boil after milk has been added.
