sausage corn chowder
This recipe was given to me by a coworker and it is yummy. I use both mild and hot sausage to give it a little heat but you could use all mild or all hot depending on your taste. Warning it makes a BIG batch!!

Ingredients
- 1 pound mild sausage
- 1 pound hot sausage
- 2 packages cream cheese (8 oz packs)
- 2 packages frozen corn (16 oz packages)
- 4 cans cream of potato soup (4 reg size cans or 2 large cans)
- 1 1/2 quarts milk ( use more or less depending on how thick you like your chowder)
How To Make sausage corn chowder

Step 1Fry sausage and drain grease. Add cream cheese to sausage and heat so it is soft. .

Step 2Cook corn in microwave for a while to get it thawed.

Step 3Put all ingredients in a slow cooker and simmer for a couple of hours... or longer if you want. (You can do it on top of the stove BUT you have to stay on top of it so it doesn't scorch!!) Add salt and pepper to taste.
