Ingredients

  • 2 cans whole kernel corn
  • 1/2 pound polish sausage
  • 2 - celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 - chopped onion
  • 1 - red pepper, chopped
  • 1 pound new red potatoes, peeled, cubed
  • 28 ounces chicken broth
  • 1 pound broccoli, chopped
  • 2 cans cream of broccoli soup
  • 1 cup cream

How To Make sausage broccoli chowder

  • Step 1
    Drain corn, reserve liquid.
  • Step 2
    In dutch oven, over med heat, brown sausage, remove/drain.
  • Step 3
    In drippings saute celery, onion, red pepper for 3 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Add corn liquid, potatoes, broth and bring to a boil, simmering for 5 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Add broccoli, simmer.
  • Step 6
    Blend soup with cream, stir into soup, do not boil.
  • Step 7
    Serve with fresh bread and butter.
