  • 1/2 lb
    polish sausage
  • 2
    celery stalks, sliced
  • 1
    chopped onion
  • 1
    red pepper, chopped
  • 1 lb
    new red potatoes, peeled, cubed
  • 28 oz
    chicken broth
  • 1 lb
    broccoli, chopped
  • 2 can(s)
    cream of broccoli soup
  • 1 c

How to Make Sausage Broccoli Chowder


  1. Drain corn, reserve liquid.
  2. In dutch oven, over med heat, brown sausage, remove/drain.
  3. In drippings saute celery, onion, red pepper for 3 minutes.
  4. Add corn liquid, potatoes, broth and bring to a boil, simmering for 5 minutes.
  5. Add broccoli, simmer.
  6. Blend soup with cream, stir into soup, do not boil.
  7. Serve with fresh bread and butter.
