quickie ham and corn chowder
This is one of my favorites to make on days when I don't really feel like cooking. I change it up a bit each time depending what I have in the fridge.

Ingredients
- 15 ounces cream style corn
- 15 ounces corn, canned or frozen
- 1 tablespoon onion, minced
- 1 1/2 cups cooked ham, chopped
- 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 stalks celery, diced, optional
- 1 cup carrots, diced, optional
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons thyme
- 1 - green onion, sliced, for garnish
How To Make quickie ham and corn chowder

Step 1In a large saucepan, combine all of the ingredients.

Step 2Over medium heat, cook the mixture for about 15 minutes, stirring often.

Step 3Garnish with green onion and serve.
