Ingredients
- 6 medium potatoes ( diced & cleaned )
- 4 cups water, or enough to cover potatoes
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 medium bell peppers
- 1 1/2 cups diced ham
- 1 can 12 oz. evaporated milk
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- - salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, & thyme to taste
How To Make quick & easy potato chowder

Step 1dice potatoes and rise till water is clear( you may peel potatoes but I left the skins on )

Step 2saute onions, bell peppers for about 10 min. just before they start to carmelize...while they are cooking, take clean potatoes and microwave them in covered plastic container for 5 min.on high

Step 3after potatoes are done, add diced ham to saute mixture and let cook for 2 min.or until a tad brown...then add some salt, pepper,garlic powder,thyme & paprika to taste...throw in potatoes and stir to incorporated

Step 4cover with water and let simmer for about 20 min. stirring every 5 min....once 20 min. has passed take a potato masher and rough mash some of the potatoes...add milk and let cook another 10-15 min. or until soup starts to thicken..make sure it's seasoned to taste

Step 5once you've adjusted your seasoning, turn off heat and add cheese stirring until melted...let sit 5-10 min..get bowls ready and enjoy..=)
