potato corn chowder
This is a down home comfort chowder. We love it with garlic bread and a side salad. Since it’s just my husband and myself, we get to enjoy it a few days unless we have company!

Step 1Place peeled and diced potatoes and corn in your crock pot. Add onion and bell pepper. Stir in flour and make sure everything is coated well. Add the chicken broth and salt and pepper. I used 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper.

Step 3After potatoes are tender, add butter and heavy cream. Cook an additional 15 minutes.
