1/2 c
onion, finely chopped

carrots, shredded
1 tsp
salt, optional
1/4 tsp
pepper
1 Tbsp
dried parsley
4 tsp
chicken bouillon
6 c
milk
1/2 c
flour
paprika

How to Make Potato Chowder

Step-by-Step

  • 1In large dutch oven or kettle, combine potatoes, onion, carrot, salt, pepper, parsley flakes and bouillon.
  • 2Add enough water to just cover veggies; cook until veggies are tender, about 15 - 20 minutes. Do not drain.
  • 3Measure 1 1/2 cups milk and add flour to milk, stirring with wire whisk.
  • 4Stir until blended.
  • 5Simmer for 15 minutes on low heat and thicken.
  • 6Garnish with paprika.
