Ingredients
- 7 ounces canned clams with liquid
- 3 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup onions, minced
- 1 cup potatoes, cubed
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- pinch black pepper
How To Make new jersey's clam chowder

Step 1Save the clam liquor.

Step 2Cook bacon in frying pan until crisp.

Step 3Remove, drain and break into 1\" pieces.

Step 4Brown onion in bacon fat.

Step 5Add clam liquor and potatoes.

Step 6Cover.

Step 7Cook over low heat until potatoes are done (about 15 minutes).

Step 8Blend in bacon pieces, minced clams and other ingredients.

Step 9Heat, but don\'t boil.
