Step-by-Step

  • 1Cook bacon, drain on paper towels and reserve drippings.
  • 2Saute onion in reserved drippings until tender.
  • 3Set aside.
  • 4Combine potato, water, salt and pepper and cook until tender.
  • 5Stir in clams, milk, butter and onion.
  • 6Heat thoroughly.
  • 7Sprinkle crumbled bacon over each serving.
