my chicken & potato chowder
This is a thick and hearty chowder I make from time to time and it's filling...Really Good!

Ingredients
- 1 cup hormel cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 cup onion, minced
- 3 cups potatoes, cubed (i used russets)
- 1 cup water
- 4 cans 12.5oz. chunk chicken breast, juice also
- 1 can 14.75oz. cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup milk 2 %
- 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
- - salt & pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup thinly sliced celery
How To Make my chicken & potato chowder

Step 1Mix your cooked bacon with your onions and celery and cook for 3 minutes. Add your potatoes and water, salt & pepper as desired and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for about 20 to 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

Step 2Gradually stir in your cans of chicken, soup, sour cream, milk, and parsley. Do not boil. Simmer on low until warmed through. Salt and pepper as desired. Yum!
