Ingredients
- 20 slices diced bacon
- 7 cups chopped onions
- 7 1/2 cups water
- 15 cups peeled and diced potatoes
- 2 1/4 tablespoons salt
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 13 1/2 cups half n half
- 3/4 cup margerine
- 102 ounces ocean clams
How To Make my best clam chowder

Step 1cook diced bacon till it is lightly crispy on med-high heat

Step 2add onions to bacon and cook 4-8 min

Step 3stir in water and potatoes and add salt and pepper and bring to a boil and cook till potatoes are tender

Step 4pour in half and half,butter and both cans of clams juice and all and cook till heated thru and thru without boiling

Step 5thicken with cornstarch and soup juice so not to loose flavor to desired consistency
