michael's shrimp & corn chowder

This is the ONE thing, my darling Husband can cook! And he does it, quite well. Great for that chilly winter's day.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups med. size, cooked, veined and cleaned frozen shrimp
  • 2 packages 8oz cream cheese
  • 1 can 16 oz whole corn
  • 2 cans cream of potato soup
  • 1 1/2 cans soup can's, milk
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 clove fresh garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • - chopped green onions

How To Make michael's shrimp & corn chowder

  • Step 1
    Saute' onion, with garlic in butter until tender.
  • Step 2
    Mix in soup, cream cheese, milk and corn. Stir until cream cheese is melted.
  • Step 3
    Bring soup to a boil. cover and simmer 10 minutes, stir frequently.
  • Step 4
    Drain frozen Shrimp. Add Shrimp during the last few minutes.
  • Step 5
    Serve Chowder with Green Onion as garnish.
