Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup green pepper,chopped
- 1 package smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 can cream style corn
- 2 teaspoons salt, or season to taste
- 2 teaspoons pepper, or season to taste
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup half and half
- 3 - russet potatoes, cut into chunks, skin on if you like
- 1 1/2 cups instant mashed potatoes, (thickener)
- 4 cups water
How To Make hearty corn chowder with smoked sausage

Step 1Saute onion,green pepper, minced garlic & smoked sausage.

Step 2In a crockpot, combine corn, cream style corn,russet potatoes & saute mix (onion,green pepper, minced garlic & smoked sausage)

Step 3Add water & seasonings to taste, stir.

Step 4Cook in crockpot on med - high setting, depending on your crockpot.

Step 5When potatoes are tender; add stick of butter, half & half and instant potatoes. Enjoy!!! ;)
