Ingredients

  • 32 oz
    chicken broth
  • 4 c
    fresh broccoli, chopped
  • 1 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 c
    shredded carrot
  • 2 c
    chopped ham
  • 1/2 stick
    butter
  • 3 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    evaporated milk
  • 2 c
    shredded swiss cheese
  • 1 c
    instant potato flakes, dry

How to Make FRESH BROCCOLI CHOWDER

Step-by-Step

  1. In large stockpot, combine broth, broccoli, carrots, and onion. Bring to a boil and cook until broccoli is tender. Turn down heat and stir in butter and cheese. Whisk until blended and melted. Add the milks and potato flakes. Whisk until blended. Add the ham. Stir to blend. Pepper to taste.
