Ingredients
- 32 ounces chicken broth
- 4 cups fresh broccoli, chopped
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup shredded carrot
- 2 cups chopped ham
- 1/2 stick butter
- 3 cups milk
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 2 cups shredded swiss cheese
- 1 cup instant potato flakes, dry
How To Make fresh broccoli chowder

Step 1In large stockpot, combine broth, broccoli, carrots, and onion. Bring to a boil and cook until broccoli is tender. Turn down heat and stir in butter and cheese. Whisk until blended and melted. Add the milks and potato flakes. Whisk until blended. Add the ham. Stir to blend. Pepper to taste.
