creamy crawfish soup

Being canjun and living in Southeast Texas gives me access to frozen carwfish tails. If you can't find crawfish, shrimp can be substituted easily.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound crawfish or shrimp tails
  • 2 tablespoons tony's cajun seasoning
  • 1 can cream of potato soup
  • 1 can cream style corn
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 stick butter

How To Make creamy crawfish soup

  • Step 1
    Melt butter in a pan and saute crawfish or shrimp for 5 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Add cream style corn and potato soup. Simmer 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Add evaporated milk and simmer for another 10 minutes. Serve with crusty french bread.
  • Step 4
    * Hint - If you can not find Tony's seasoning you can use a houseblend of garlic powder, salt, pepper and red pepper. Basically just season to suit your taste.
