Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 medium red bell pepper, chopped
- 12 ounces frozen corn
- 2 large russet potato, cubed
- 1/4 pound smoked ham, cubed
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup pepper jack cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup colby cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons cajun seasoning
How To Make creamy corn, potato, ham & cheese chowder

Step 1In heavy pot melt butter over medium high heat. Sauté onions and bell pepper until soft. Add ham and cook for a few minutes. Sprinkle flour over the top. Stir until thick 3-4 minutes, Add stock, salt, black pepper & Cajun seasoning

Step 2Reduce heat to Medium , add potatoes And cook until done 10-15 minutes. Add corn and cook 3-4 minutes. Stir in cream and cheeses until cheese melts. Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.
