    onion, chopped
  • 2
    potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 125 ml
  • 500 ml
  • 1
    knorr garlic & herb potato bake seasoning packet (or similar) (garlic herb sauce mix)
  • 2 x 400 g
    can whole kernel corn
  • 400 g
    can cream-style corn
  • 1/2 tsp
  • ·
    ground black pepper to taste

How to Make Creamy Corn And Bacon Chowder


  1. Crisp bacon in an oven or microwave, crumble and set aside
  2. Sauté onion in a little oil and add potatoes and water
  3. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender
  4. Add the sachet of KNORR Garlic & Herb Potato Bake, (or similar), stir in milk, corn, salt, and pepper to taste; continue to cook for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until heated through
  5. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon to serve
