i had gotten this from a co-worker years ago. it is great! leftovers get thick just add a little water to make it soupy again.

Ingredients
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped broccoli
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/2 stick
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 cups cheddar cheese(shredded)
- 1 cup cubed ham
- 2 cups water, cold
How To Make creamy cheddar chowder

Step 1boil vegetables in water till tender, DO NOT DRAIN!.In separate pan melt butter,add flour,then milk.Cook until thick. add cheese, cook until melted,do not boil, add ham then add to cooked vegetables. stir well then serve. I like garlic toast with mine.
