Ingredients
- 10 - strips of bacon,diced
- 1 large onion,chopped
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 1/2 cups cubed potatoes
- 1 can whole kernel corn,drained
- 2 - chicken bouillon cubes
- - pepper to taste
- 3 cups shredded cheddar
- 2 cups diced fully cooked ham
- pinch parsley
How To Make cheesy ham chowder

Step 1In a dutch oven,cook baconover med. heat until crisp.Remove to paper towel,set aside.

Step 2Saute onion and carrot in drippings until tender.Stir in flour until blended,gradually add milk and water.Cook and stir 2 min. or until thickened.

Step 3Add potatoes,corn,bouillion and pepper.Reduce heat;simmer uncovered for 20 min. or until potatoes are tender.

Step 4Add cheese and ham,heat until cheese is melted,add bacon.Sprinkle in parsley if desired
