Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup diced carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pound minced clams with juice
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup potatoes diced
- 1 pound shredded cheddar cheese
How To Make cheesy clam chowder

Step 1Cook bacon in large pot until crisp. Remove and drain and crumble. Cook onion and celery in bacon fat until transparent.

Step 2Stir in flour and cornstarch, salt and pepper. Add 3 1/2 cups clam juice and cook over medium heat until bubbly, add milk, clams, potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion, & bacon. Cook stirring occasionally until all vegetables are cooked through. Add cheddar cheese stirring to combine and serve.
