Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cups milk
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 5/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1.25 cups instant mashed potato flakes
- 3 tablespoons blue cheese, crumbled
- 1/3 cup cheddar cheese, grated
How To Make cheese potato chowder

Step 1In medium saucepan, melt butter.

Step 2Add onion and green pepper.

Step 3Cook and stir until softened, about 5 minutes.

Step 4Stir in milk, chicken broth and black pepper.

Step 5Bring to a boil.

Step 6Stir in potato flakes.

Step 7Cook and stir until thickened, about 1 minute.

Step 8Set aside 1 tablespoon each cheddar and blue cheese for later use.

Step 9Stir in remaining cheddar and blue cheeses.

Step 10Heat until melted, about 1 minute.

Step 11Just before serving, sprinkle with reserved cheddar and blue cheeses.
