Another wonderful soup recipe from a good friend. It is a family favorite of theirs at the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 1 - head cauliflower/ 2 cups of sliced
  • 1 can 13-3/4 oz chicken broth
  • 1 cup light cream or 1/2 and 1/2
  • 1 can condensed cream of potato soup
  • 1/4 can water
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 2 cups cooked/diced ham
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

How To Make cauliflower ham chowder

  • Step 1
    Boil cauliflower in chicken broth until tender, do not drain.
  • Step 2
    Mix together light cream (or 1/2 and 1/2) with condensed potato soup. Add to the cauliflower mixture. Mix water & corn starch together with a whisk; add to the cauliflower mixture.
  • Step 3
    Once all combined add in the diced ham and salt & pepper to taste. Cook on low-med for 30 minutes; careful not to scorch.
