evaporated milk
"just a pinch" of salt
"just a pinch" of pepper

How to Make Artichoke Chowder


  • 1In a large saucepan heat the oil and saute the onions; Add the mushrooms, artichokes, and broth.
  • 2Cook about 5 minutes or until tender; Add the peas.
  • 3Blend the flour into the evaporated milk and add to the mixture in the pan.
  • 4Cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until slightly thickened; Season to taste with salt and pepper.
