Ingredients

  • 1 cup onions, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 small potato, cubed
  • 1 cup chicken broth, defatted
  • 2 cups evaporated milk
  • 1 cup corn kernels, frozen
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • - "just a pinch" of salt
  • - "just a pinch" of pepper

How To Make a-maize-ing chowder

  • Step 1
    In medium saucepan, combine onions, carrots and potato with chicken broth.
  • Step 2
    Cover and simmer 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • Step 3
    Puree then add milk and corn; heat without boiling, to serving temperature.
  • Step 4
    Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Step 5
    Serve sprinkled with parsley.
