Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 pounds ground venison
- 2 cups chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped green sweet pepper
- 2 medium jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans (15 to 16 oz.) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 cans (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
- 1 cup prepared sloppy joe sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
How To Make wild game chili

Step 1Heat oil in 4-quart Dutch oven over medium heat. Add venison, onion, sweet pepper, jalapeno peppers and garlic. Cook until meat is brown and onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients (except cheese). Bring to a boil; reduce heat; simmer, covered, for 20 minutes. Serve with cheese.
