Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup jack daniels whiskey
  • 4 cups stewed tomatoes
  • 1 can 12 oz. coke a cola
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 1 can 14.5 oz can chili beans
  • - salt and pepper
  • - shredded cheddar cheese
  • - sour cream

How To Make whiskey & coke chili

  • Step 1
    Add some oil to a bottom of a Dutch oven. Place the onions and garlic in the pan and saute 3 minutes. Add the ground beef and cook until the meat is no longer pink.
  • Step 2
    Pour in the whiskey and let most evaporate about 5 minutes. Place the stewed tomatoes in a food processor and chop until the tomatoes are chopped small. Add to the pan.
  • Step 3
    Pour in the coke and add the chili powder. Bring to a boil reduce heat to a simmer and simmer 10 minutes. Add the corn and beans. Cook 5 more minutes.
  • Step 4
    Taste and season with salt and pepper. Serve topped with shredded cheese and sour cream
