Love Chili, but sometimes I need some variety. After perusing several recipes, I decided to wing it and came up with a bean filled Taco Soup that is easy to prepare and even easier to eat.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef, turkey, or chicken - ground
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 1 package ranch dressing mix
- 2 cups water
- 1 can tomatoes, diced w/juice (28 oz.)
- 1 can green chilies, diced
- 1 can chili beans w/juice
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 can kidney beans, drained (light or dark)
- 1 can pinto beans, drained or pink beans, drained
- 1 can white hominy, drained
- - cheddar cheese, shredded - optional
- - sour cream - optional
- - guacamole - optional
How To Make weekday taco soup

Step 1Place meat and onions in large pot and brown burger. Drain grease. Stir in taco seasoning, ranch seasoning and water. Simmer for approx. 15 minutes.

Step 2Add chilies, chili beans w/juice, all the drained beans and hominy and stir thoroughly. Simmer approx. 20 minutes stirring occasionally.

Step 3Serve with toppings such as shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and/or guacamole.
