Ingredients

  • BROWN & DRAIN
  • 1 pound ground lean turkey
  • 1/2 cup red onions, diced
  • ADD & STIR
  • 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ADD DRAINED BEANS
  • 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, reduced sodium
  • 1 can 15 oz cannelli beans, reduced sodium
  • 1 can 15 oz black beans, reduced sodium
  • ADD
  • 32 ounces creamy tomato basil soup, pacific organic brand
  • 30 ounces brooks mild chili beans in chili sauce
  • 1 medium zucchini, diced

How To Make tomato soup turkey chili

  • Step 1
    Place in slow cooker on high 4 hours or low 6-8 hours or simmer on stove.
  • Step 2
    Taste occasionally and adjust seasonings as needed. Add 1 teaspoon of salt just before serving to best preserve nutrients.
  • Step 3
    NOTE: You may substitute regular tomato soup for the creamy or any version you would like. You may also add a can of lentils.
