- 1 1/4 liters chicken stock
- 1/2 pound potato's, flowery, raw finely sliced
- 1/2 pound pork sausage, mild -in fine strips
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 can crushed tomato's or 3 diced fresh ones
- 2 1/2 cups leek, finely sliced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1/2 - 1 tablespoons sambal badjak
- 1 - 2 pinches chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 clove garlic, crushed, (if you want)
- 1 teaspoon corn starch

Step 1Add all main ingredients (except the corn starch) to the simmering chicken stock.

Step 2Add spices to taste, but no more than stated, it will be hot enough for most people, remember that flavors first intensifies, then mellows.

Step 3Leave to simmer slowly under lid for 45 min to 1 hour, mix in corn starch, stir and wait until thickened slightly, serve.
