Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegtable oil
  • 2 cans (15 1/4 oz) each kidney beans, drained
  • 1 pound shredded cooked pork or beef
  • 1 can (14 1/2 oz) whole peeled tomatoes, undrained & cut up
  • 1 cup fajita skillet sauce (lawrys)
  • 1 can (7 ozs) whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1/2 cup tomato juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder

  • Step 1
    IN LARGE SKILLET, SAUTE ONION AND BELL PEPPER IN OIL 10 MINS. OR UNTIL TENDER.
  • Step 2
    STIR IN KIDNEY BEANS, SHREDDED MEAT, TOMATOES, FAJITA SKILLET SAUCE, CORN, TOM. JUICE AND CHILI POWDER.
  • Step 3
    BRING MIXTURE TO A BOIL, REDUCE HEAT, COVER AND SIMMER 20 MINS.
  • Step 4
    MAKES 6 SERVINGS SERVE WITH MONTEREY JACK CHEESE OR SOUR CREAM ON TOP OF CHILI
