This chili I had some years ago at a party and have made it many many times. We love it!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1-10 ounce can condensed onion soup
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa, unsweetened powder
  • 2-15 ounces can kidney beans, drained
  • 1-6 ounce can tomato paste
  • 1-8 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup coca cola

How To Make tasty chili

  • Step 1
    Heat oil in a dutch oven or pot. Add crumbled beef & salt and cook over low/med heat 20 minutes or until beef is no longer pink. Drain fat off. Put the cold onion soup in blender for 1 minute, and add soup to beef & mix well. Now turn heat to low and let beef simmer 10 minutes. Add the chili powder, cumin,pepper,cocoa powder,beans,tomato paste,tomato sauce,and coca cola in with the beef mixture and heat it through. It is a pretty thick chili! We eat it with garlic bread sticks! Enjoy!
