This is a good cold weather soup. It does freeze well and it is easy to double or triple the recipe. I am not even sure where this recipe came from and I know there are many versions of it around.

Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 cup water
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 1 can cut up or diced tomatoes
- 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can corn, drained---or can use frozen
- 1 can 4 oz diced green chili
How To Make taco soup

Step 1Brown hamburger and onion in a large pot until cooked. Drain fat. Add taco seasoning and stir well. Add water.

Step 2Add the tomatoes with the liquid, kidney beans, corn, and green chili.

Step 3Simmer for 1 hour stirring ever so often. If it gets to thick you can add more water.
