I have previewed all of the different Taco Soup recipes on this site and none are identical to mine, so here goes. I received this recipe from Joanie Sweet before her passing.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 - onion, finely chopped
  • 1 - 14 oz cans pinto beans, drained
  • 1 - 14 oz cans kidney beans, drained
  • 1 - 14 oz cans white corn, drained
  • 1 can small can rotel tomoatoes
  • 2 - 14 oz cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix, dry
  • 1 package ranch dressing mix, dry
  • 1 cup water
  • GARNISHES - IF DESIRED
  • - tortilla chips
  • - grated cheddar cheese
  • - diced onion
  • - sliced black olives
  • - dollop of sour cream

How To Make taco soup

  • Step 1
    Brown hamburger and onion. Drain off fat.
  • Step 2
    Add remaining ingredients. Simmer.
  • Step 3
    Garnish as desired.
