Ingredients
- 2 pounds chuck roast, cut into 2-inch cubes
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork
- 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium red onion, chopped
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup dry red wine
- salt
- 6 Roma tomatoes, seeded and chopped
- 3 cans red kidney beans
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 6 tablespoons Ancho chili powder
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup pomegranate molasses
- 4 cups water
- shredded cheddar cheese, for serving
- sour cream, for serving
How To Make slow cooker triple meat chili

Step 1Add 1 Tbsp olive oil to a Dutch oven. Add the chuck roast pieces and season with salt. Brown the roast pieces and add them to the slow cooker.

Step 2Brown the ground beef and ground pork in the same Dutch oven and season with salt. Add the cooked meat to the slow cooker.

Step 3Add the remaining olive oil to the Dutch oven and add the onions, and season with salt. Brown the onions and add the garlic.

Step 4Add the red wine and bring to a boil, cook 3 minutes. Add to the slow cooker.

Step 5Add the remaining ingredients to the slow cooker, except the cheese and sour cream.

Step 6Cook on low for 10 hours.

Step 7Serve topped with cheddar cheese and sour cream.
