The recipe I was given called for a 26-ounce jar of Classico di Napoli Tomato and Basil pasta sauce (which I couldn't find in my market), so I came up with my own version using pizza seasoning (I use Penzey's), which I liked.

Ingredients
- 1 cup medium shell pasta
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 3/4 cup chopped onions
- 26 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons pizza seasoning
- 2 cups water
- 4 ounces sliced mushrooms, drained
- 2 ounces sliced pepperoni
- 1 tablespoon instant beef bouillon
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
How To Make pizza chili

Step 1Cook the pasta according to package directions and drain.

Step 2Brown the ground beef with the onion in a skillet, stirring until the beef is crumbly and the onion translucent; drain.

Step 3Stir in the tomato sauce, pizza seasoning, water, mushrooms, pepperoni, beef bouillon, and chili powder.

Step 4Bring to a boil; reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

Step 5Stir in pasta shells and serve.
