papa travis' hot dog chili
This recipe came from Dorn's Ice Cream Parlor from back in the 1930's. It is still used today in McCormick, SC at a little cafe, where it was originated. They even sell it by the quart, if you want to take it home with you. Every time I've made it, everyone raves. Enjoy!!

Ingredients
- 1 pound hambuger
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
- 1/2 stick butter (optional)
- 8 ounces bottle of ketchup
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 medium onion chopped
- PAPA TRAVIS HOT DOG CHILI

Step 1In a medium size saucepan brown beef with onions in small amount of water. Add other ingredients and cook on medium until it comes to a boil. Simmer on low for 20 to 30 minutes
