I was explaining to my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter, Kaylee, what was in the chili we were having for dinner. "There's hamburger"..."burbers? she said..."beans"...(I left out the part about tomatoes!)...I would give her a bite, and she'd run across the room, spin in a circle and yell..."I WUV IT!"...best compliment ever! =)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground chuck
  • 2 cans bush's mild chili beans
  • 1 can redgold petite diced tomatoes
  • 1 package mild chili seasoning (i use mccormick)
  • 1 can redgold tomato juice

How To Make my chili

  • Step 1
    brown ground chuck and drain. Combine all ingredients and simmer. I add about half of the tomato juice at first, then add more as it cooks down.
  • Step 2
    You can also make elbow macaroni and pour this over the top of you prefer noodles in your chili.
  • Step 3
    Add shredded cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream.
