mum's quick and easy homemade chili
This is a quick fix chili that doesn't require much skill but tastes delicious and fills the belly. Goes excellent with my homemade honey cornbread. I make a couple different kinds of chili but this is my kids favorite.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground hamburger (i prefer the 93% lean)
- 1 - onion diced
- 4 cans kidney beans, reduced sodium, drained
- 5 cans chili beans, reduced sodium, undrained
- 4 cans diced tomatoes (2 cans drained, 2 cans undrained for thicker chili - no cans drained for thinner chili)
- 32 ounces carton tomato sauce
- 2 packages chili mix (i use about 4 t of bobby's chili seasoning, you can find the recipe on my page)

Step 1Brown hamburger with diced onion in large pot. Add rest of ingredients. Heat until bubbly then reduce heat to simmer. I like to leave it on simmer for most of the day but you can eat it right away if you're in a hurry.
