mom's white chicken chili

My mom found this recipe in a recipe/Christmas craft book a few years ago. I just love it. In my opinion it's actually better than a brown chili. But I do like both :)

Ingredients

  • 6 cans 15 1/2 oz each great northern beans, drained and rinsed
  • 3 cans 5 oz each chicken, drained
  • 32 ounces chicken broth
  • 3 cups 12 oz shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 2 - 4 1/2 oz cans diced green chiles
  • 2 small onions, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

How To Make mom's white chicken chili

  • Step 1
    Combine all ingredients in a large stock pot. Simmer for 30 mins. or till heated thru.
