Mom loved this and made it frequently. Its an easy soup recipe which lots of people say isn't real chili. But its quick, easy, and good. And our family still loves it.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 - chopped onion
- 1 - can dark red kidney beans, drained
- 1 - can chili beans, undrained
- 1 - large can peeled, whole tomatoes
- 1 - large can chopped tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 - beef bouillon, cubes

Step 1Brown beef and onions in Dutch Oven. Add remaining ingredients (if you like a thinner soup add tomato juice to desired consistency) and cook for 30-45 minutes. Adjust seasonings to your taste. Serve with cornbread. Optional: Top with sour cream, chopped onions and/or shredded cheddar cheese.
