This is my personal creation...it is a perfect blend of spicy, hearty, and just plain Yummy!! This is also a great topper for Taco salads instead of just Taco meat! Also excellent topped with colby/jack cheese and sour cream served with Tortilla chips! Play around with it and make it our own!! Hope you love it!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 medium red onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can petite diced tomatoes
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with greeen chiles
  • 1 can dark red kidney beans
  • 1 can chili beans
  • 1 can black beans (rinsed & drained)
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon whorchestire sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup

How To Make millie's 3 bean chili con carne

  • Step 1
    Cook ground beef with the red onion & garlic in a large pot until meat is browned and onions are beginning to turn translucent.
  • Step 2
    Add all remaining ingredients to pot and simmer over low heat for at least 1 hour.
  • Step 3
    At the end of the hour taste the chili and re-season if needed. Continue to cook for another 30-45 minutes if you re-season.
  • Step 4
    Serve hot with you're favorite toppings, like: Shredded Cheese, Sour cream, Tortilla chips, or just plain old saltine crackers! Enjoy!
