My Mama passed away 2 weeks ago (November 2, 2011). She was an amazing cook. She made this recipe in a huge iron dutch pot when we were growing up. I guess she had to double it or triple it because she raised 7 children. All the wonderful recipes she made are great memories of my childhood and the reason cooking is my passion.
1Cook hamburger meat and onion. Drain well. Add chili seasoning and soup. Add some water to make it as thin as you like it. Add beans and bring to a boil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 30 minutes. Serve with crackers, cheese and sour cream.
