This soup was a favorite at an out of business restaurant. My family thought it tasted even better....

Ingredients For lolly's white chicken chili

  • 4
    skinless boneless chicken breast
  • 1-2 md
    white potatoes, peeled & chopped
  • 1-2 md
    yellow onions, chopped
  • 4 stalk
    celery, chopped
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2 can
    chicken broth or chicken base & water to equal
  • 2 can
    navy beans drained & rinsed
  • 1 can
    navy beans drained, rinsed & pureed
  • 1-2 can
    4.5 chopped green chilies, undrained
  • 1 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 3/4 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • red pepper flakes to taste
  • sour cream, chopped fresh cilantro or chopped green onions (scallions)
  • DIRECTIONS
  • COOK CHICKEN OR USE DELI COOKED CHICKEN. SHRED OR CHOP INTO BITE SIZE PIECES.

How To Make lolly's white chicken chili

  • 1
    Shred or Chop cooked Chicken into bite size pieces. Set aside.

    Saute' Onion, Celery, Potato & Garlic in oil, add Chicken.

    Stir in broth & rest of ingredients; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Serve with desired toppings. Makes approx. 15 cups.
