lee's quick and easy chili
I just made this for the first time yesterday. It came out good but very mild (my wife thinks ketchup is hot). We individually added pepper to our own liking. The original did not have ANY chili powder or cayenne pepper so as it is, this is not fully tested.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 large red chili pepper, seeded, diced
- 1/4 small green bell pepper, seeded, diced
- 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 - beef bouillon, cubes
- 1 can pinto beans, bushe's chili beans
- 1 can kidney beans, bushe's chili beans
- 1 can tomatoes, del monte chili-style
- SEASONINGS
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 3 dashes cayenne pepper
- THICKENER
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon corn meal or corn bread mix
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
How To Make lee's quick and easy chili

Step 1Brown meat and drain excess fat

Step 2Add diced onion and peppers, cook 2-3 minutes

Step 3Add tomato sauce, water, beef bouillon, and canned beans

Step 4Add seasonings adjusting to taste (this is very mild)

Step 5Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, mix ingredients in thickener section and add to chili, bring back to a boil and boil for 1 minute.
